HOPE
Austria
The importance given to infirm children education was recognized in Austria early on, around the 70s.
Nowadays, there’s thirteen branches of the Vienna Hospital School with more than 60 teachers that teach children between 6 and 15 years old, following the official curriculums.
For those children that must remain home and in no condition to attend classes a homeschooling project was created: Integrative Home Teaching, emerged in 1985.
